Urchin Property Management Inc. (UPMI) is an affiliate company of Urchin Holdings Ltd., a locally, family-owned property holding company in downtown Dartmouth that has been operating in the Halifax Regional Municipality for over 40 years. 

We administer residential and commercial properties and parking lots in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) for property investors. Over the last several years, our portfolio has grown to over 1,000 apartments in the Metro Area.

We offer comprehensive property management services covering all aspects from financial management to leasing tenant relations and property maintenance. The story behind URCHIN

More than four decades ago, Roger established Urchin Property Management Inc. The inspiration for the name "Urchin" stemmed from his familial ties and his residence in the Maritimes. "Urchin" symbolizes the sea creature, reflecting Roger's affinity for coastal living near the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, it incorporates an acronym derived from the initials of his three children (UR) (CH) (IN) in chronological order of birth.
