PROTECTING PRIVACY

1. At Urchin Property Management Inc., we are committed to safeguarding any personal information provided to us. When renting with Urchin Property Management Inc. the lessee consents to us the lessor/landlord collecting, using and disclosing personal information, including that previously collected, for the following purposes: communicating regarding the lease agreement, confirming information provided by the lessee for future references; evaluation and reviewing the lease agreement upon renewal, detecting and preventing fraud (unpaid rent, NSF cheques, providing false information); offering and providing maintenance products and services to meet needs, and as required by law.

2. The lessee may withdraw your consent, but by doing so may prevent the lessor/landlord from providing the lessee with rental accommodations and maintenance services as requested.

3. The lessor/ landlord does not sell or otherwise market personal information to third parties.

4. All completed applications which do not result in Standard Form of Lease Agreement will be shredded.  All personal information except for the Standard Form of Lease Agreement will be shredded upon lease termination.

5. The lessee agrees to abstain from engaging in any defamatory activities directed towards the Lessor/Landlord or agents associated with Urchin Property Management Inc. This includes refraining from making false or harmful statements, whether orally, in writing, or through any other means of communication (specifically social media), that could damage the reputation, or integrity of the Lessor/Landlord or their representatives. Violation of this agreement may result in legal action, or other consequences outlined in the lease agreement.
